for the many notes and cards we received before we left and now here in Zambia. There is mailing info available on our website. Letters have taken anywhere from two to three weeks, the same with packages. Apparently our postman only goes into get the mail when he wants to J. THE HOUSE…
is coming along! The main kitchen/living room area is done except painting the walls and finishing around the doors. We need a few more tension rods for curtains, but at $20 each, we aren’t hurrying out to buy too many at a time!! One bathroom has a sink and toilet; the other has a toilet and shower. We won’t have hot water until April or May as our tank less water heater won’t come until the next Gospelink container arrives. The kids are all in one room that just needs to be painted and the floor done (with a garage floor epoxy), Henry, Kelly and I are in another room that needs all that plus the ceiling. It is an ongoing process! All the windows now have panes in them! Please keep praying for the work that needs to be done and the time to do it balanced with overseeing things for the college.
ON THE AG SIDE…
I have planted some 250+ seeds in the nursery on the land just in front of our house. I am hiring out a local farmer to do some plowing for me soon as the tractor is not yet functional. The main goal for food items right now will be planting for the students starting in January and for the summer missions teams coming from April to July. If you are at all interested in coming on a summer team, contact Gospelink ASAP to inquire about any openings left for next summer. We’d love to have you! I have also preached a few Sundays, am coordinating the bible study for our weekly staff meetings, and overseeing some of the other construction the guys are doing.
SUPPORT UPDATE…
we made it here with all of our outgoing costs covered, including a vehicle! That has really turned into a MAJOR praise-I can’t imagine what we would have done so far without a vehicle! We have been pledged 99% of our monthly support, but due to various people’s circumstances, we are currently only receiving about 93% on a regular basis. It is not too late to join our support team whether on a monthly basis or through special gifts to help cover months when our monthly support is short. If you would like to send a gift, use the address on the form below so that we can get accurate personal records of your support before it goes on to Gospelink. · Seemingly well-adjustment of most of the kids to life in Zambia
· Purchase of two dogs, Elijah & Eve, that have assisted in the kids transition

· Family & Friends and our first Christmas apart
· The first 12 students are scheduled to begin classes in January
· A sense that it is “okay” to take a rest-with so much to do it is hard to take time to refresh and rest
