Yes, it seems a “Jack of all Trades, Master of None” is what we have both become.  Why do I tell you this?  Because despite all our failures these past seven months, and more that I am sure are coming, GOD IS AT WORK.  God hasn’t forgotten us, nor will He ever!!  He has not turned a deaf ear to your many prayers on our behalf and we are sure He is blessing you as well as you cry out to Him for us.  Just recently He showed us a BIG ERROR we were making:  trying to lead everyone, except ourselves.  He had to let us go through many trials and get burned to show us this, because we weren’t listening.  We were too busy leading in every direction but inward.  But the amazing thing is His GRACE.  Even though we were failing in this area, God still chose to bless the happenings of the college project.  Yes, another reminder that this college doesn’t depend on us alone, even if there are times it feels like it!  You are a part, we are a part, churches and pastors from all over the world are a part-we’re just one little piece.  Progress is continuing to be made, we are continuing to be stretched in our faith, and I am sure many of you are as well.  As you see our struggles and triumphs, you may wonder how we can be having struggles if this is where God called us?  We hope our journey of faith is helping you to evaluate and dialogue with God.  Just because God has a call and a will for you and your life, does that mean it will be easy?  NO!!  Does that mean God isn’t traveling along with you?  NO!!  More and more we are learning, GOD IS GOOD, GOD IS FAITHFUL, but GOD ISN’T SAFE!  He will teach you and stretch you and mold you.  You WILL BE CHANGED!

PRAYER & PRAISE

PRAISE: 

·         We survived past the six month mark!!

·         Paul and Lori will be moving permanently to join us at the bible college on June 16th!!!!

·         Amazing fellowship and blessings with American teams that have come so far.  They do far more ministry here (to us!) than they possibly know.

·         New renters moved into our USA home on May 1st!

 

PRAYER REQUESTS:

·         That we would be good Self-Leaders above all else.  That we would stay focused on what we need to do to stay healthy in our own lives.

·         Paul and Lori as they transition into life in Zambia.  It wasn’t that long ago that we went through it and we know they need our prayers!!  Pray especially for their adult son Ben in the United States.

·         Endurance, strength, and health through the end of July and summer teams.

·         We are having problems with our vehicle again (this is Africa…).  Please pray for wisdom in what to do.  If to sell, that we would have a buyer quickly and a new vehicle waiting!  If to keep, that it would be free of all mechanical problems!

·         We still have a 15 passenger van in the USA to sell.  If we decide to buy a new vehicle here, we could really use the money from selling the van there to upgrade here.

·         That our monthly financial support would continue to come in, and that it would meet our needs.
